Canceling a subscription

You may cancel a monthly or annual TaxTrail Pro subscription at any time through the subscription area in Settings, which links to Stripe billing management where available. Cancellation prevents the next renewal. Your paid access continues through the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged for the next period unless you subscribe again.

Refund requests

Payments are generally non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods. If you believe a charge was made in error, experienced a billing problem, or have another reasonable concern about a recent payment, email support@taxtrail.online. Include your account email, charge date, plan, and a brief explanation. We review requests individually based on the circumstances and applicable law; submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. This policy does not limit refund or cancellation rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Lifetime purchases

If a Lifetime plan is offered, it is a one-time purchase rather than a renewing subscription. Refund requests for a Lifetime purchase are reviewed individually under the same process above. “Lifetime” describes the scope of service access, as explained in our Terms of Service, and is not a guarantee that TaxTrail will operate forever.

Your account and records

Canceling a subscription does not itself delete your account or records. When the paid period ends, the account returns to the Free plan and Free limits apply. Some actions or features, including exports, may then require Pro. Because TaxTrail is not a guaranteed archival service, save any copies you need before canceling or requesting deletion.
